Dock/port replicator for R61i?

I'm looking for a relatively cheap solution, mainly to have a dvi port (for the quality over vga). Leaving usb etc plugged in would be handy but not necessarily.

I came across the mini dock (67P8984) which is 130 euro's but if I'm right that doesn't work with R6*. Too bad as that's the cheapest one (in store) I could find.

Any other suggestions? (I would like to buy in Belgium or if needed online with shipping to Belgium)

Are there alternatives? Something like a vga-to-dvi convertor? (does it even exists?)

The mini dock works with the R61, not the R61e and only some R61i.
I notice on the Lenovo US website it only says T and Z, on the german website it says;

Kompatibilität mit den ThinkPad Z-, T- und R-Systemen der nächsten Generation (ab 60 Series).

{Compatible with Z/T/R systems of the next generation (from 60 series).}

And, I've sold them to people with R6* ThinkPads.

Which R61i do you have?

The R61i is an NF0AEBE if I'm not mistaken (It's not mine).
Please not that the dock I was speaking off is not the "advanced mini dock" but the "mini dock". As far as I know the advanced one should work on R6* (but it's 100 euro's more expensive or so) and the "normal" one not I'm afraid (though hoping).

The NF0AEBE (8932-AEG) is capable of being used with a dock.
The mini dock 67P8984 you mentioned is for T4*/R4* etc. and will NOT work with the T6*/R6*/Z6*.

There are three posible options;
1. 250510W "Essential Port Replicator"
2. 39T4587 "Advanced Mini Dock"
3. 39T4569 "Advanced Dock"

IMO the best solution for you is the mini dock, as the port rep doesn't have a DVI. The mini dock also has an ac adapter included, can be very usefull. The price difference between the two is the price of a second ac adapter. Not only does the mini dock have more "connectivity", it makes financial sense.
