Connecting a Bluetooth Headset

#1 Post by Hagi » Fri Dec 14, 2007 4:37 pm

I have a R61 running Vista. Now I bought a Bluetooth Headset to use with Skype. I can connect it to the notebook. (It is shown under Bluetooth in the Control Panel as a Headset). However if I go to "Properties" Windows says that i cannot find the driver.
The Headset is shown in the DeviceManager as "other devices", "Bluetooth Peripherical Device".
I have no idea what the problem could be....

Also: If i start the computer I always get the message: BTTray.exe could not be loaded because Btballoon.dll could not be found. Reinstalling the Bluetooth driver did nont help, but Bluetooth works fine with my Palm Pilot...

I would be thankful for any hints you might have...

You can find that missing btballoon.dll file here:
http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-f ... ?btballoon

Other than that, I don't know anything else, don't use BT.

If you go to (in Skype) | Tools | Options | Audio Settings | What do you see in the drop down boxes for the Microphone and Speakers?
