I know this has been discussed over and over, but doing a search for this is nearly impossible. There's so many topics on it, and most links don't work any longer.

What I'm looking for is a seller that was recommended on Ebay through this site. He seemed to have a good reputation here, and sold all brand new batteries that were brand name Lenovo/IBM. Does anyone have this info? My T43 is definitely in need of a new one.

No one will give any advice? No input whatsoever? Nobody has bought an OEM battery new off ebay?

What you'll find mostly on ebay are generic and third party batteries.

Look for batteries on ebay from private sellers like the following:

You may also note that generic and 3rd party batteries don't bear IBM or lenovo logo.

I know a member of this forum Dimitri_P sells IBM/lenovo items on ebay, you may check with him if he sells batteries or not.

Although I believe that he only has used batteries, one eBay seller who I can recommend is:

Did I say ONE seller? Yes. He has those two eBay IDs (as well as a third that I know of but only lists disk drives with that ID). Currently, there's only one T4x type being offered:

Tony checks the capacity and number of charge cycles as listed by Battery MaxiMiser and categorizes them accordingly. I have purchased several T2x batteries from him in the last year and they have been as described. Good luck on your search and if you find a good source please post back here.
