Hi, guys,

I purchase a ATI X1550 256MB for my ThinkPad Dock II, which is used to connect my T30 laptop (have an on board ATI 7500 16M video card) and a Sharp 19" widescreen HDTV. I install my video card in the PCI slot in the dock and connect the dock with my T30 and LCD monitor (with 15 pin vga connector). But when i start the computer and switch the display to the outside monitor, it does not have display on my monitor at all (only have display in my T30 LCD). When i enter the Windows, the system neither found the new hardware nor install the video card driver successfully from CD when i try to do so.

I don't know what's going on, seems the system does not recognize the new video card at all. I am not sure if i need to add a power cable for my new video card inside the dock or connect monitor with a VGA to DVI adapter into the DVI port in video card or remove the previous on board video card driver in my laptop before I install the new video card in dock?

I am new to install the video card on thinkpad dock, I am seeking the guys who is willing to share the experience of install and config the similar video card on ThinkPad dock? Thanks for your help.
