ThinkVantage Password Manager

#1 Post by tjm001 » Fri Dec 21, 2007 5:58 pm

OK. I've had this T61p for a couple of weeks now. Had nothing but trouble until I got rid of the pre-loaded Symantic stuff. It seems to be fairly stable now, but what's with this pre-loaded ThinkVantage password thing?

It seems to be nothing but an annoyance so far. Am I missing the point here somewhere? Is this a valuable/usefull program, or should I just delete it?

What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks.

A quick search will result in quite a few posts on this topic.

In a nutshell, I use Password Manager on my T43 in conjunction with my fingerprint reader to log onto Windows at bootup and onto Web sites for banking and e-mail.

It's a useful utility and well worth trying.
