After about 4 months from buying R61 a problem w. M.Center f.Think Offerings occured - no its aplication (except for WinDVD player) can be run now. I always get "The trial version of this product has expired". I tried to check out IBM/Lenovo forums, and also Roxio forums. It looks like the Roxio products generally have similar problems. I tried suggested operation - uninstalling, cleaning all Roxio folders, registry item, and reinstalling. But nothing worked... I got another error message, something about "problem with license...". Mail support from IBM/Lenovo answered me, that there are more than 30 days from buying my ThinkPad...
Trying to install the update package from support page not worked, I got message like "This product is not for your hardware...", or similar. Has anybody a suggestion for solving this problem?

Yeah, if you like the trial software, BUY it.
You will not be able re-install any trial software and make it work again for another 30/60/90 days or whatever, except perhaps if you set the system date BACK a couple of months.
And that will cause all sorts of other problems, so DON'T do it.

OK, problem is in my opinion that this software is probably NOT TRIAL, but Roxio soft bundled by Lenovo/IBM as OEM with Thinkads. If I mentioned 30-days in IBM support answer, they alked about their 30-day only support. If this software WAS ONLY TRIAL, I would not asked in this forum , of course:-)))

Which programs are you talking about?
There are many (free) replacements available for a lot of programs.
For Roxio, try

There was no clear statement, neither during installation nor during using these products, they should be TRIAL...
So, if somebody is sure about the real licensing conditions of this software in case of delivery with new ThinkPad, please post the information here.
In case it is really trial, I have no problem to get rid of it and purchase e.g. Nero or use some free software...
Thanks
