Can't configure Access Connection
Version: 4.42 for Windows Vista
Build: 7RCN38WW
When I click "Configure" then "Global Settings", all the options under the Network tab and Notification tab are now grayed out. I can't make any modifications. I did log in as an administrator. Any thought?
Update: When I press Fn + F5 and click the "Find Wireless Network" button, it says "Find Wireless Network is disable. Contact your Network Administrator"

Good day,
I'm currently experiencing this problem on an X61 tablet.
I've ran System Update to update all drivers and bios.
I've removed and reinstalled Access Connections several times, and even tried with another administrator account. All the options in GLOBAL SETTINGS except the top one, and the second from the bottom are greyed out.
When I try to setup a profile within AC, it show the Intel Wireless WIFI Link 4965AG of having a status of Enabled, 100.0 mbps.
It appears Access Connections has no control or ability to control the settings of the wifi.

Unfortunately, the usual tap dance with Access Connections is to uninstall it (including profiles), uninstall the wireless NIC, restart, make sure you have compatable versions of AC and Wireless NIC (see Lenovo support site), install wireless NIC, restart, install Access Connections and restart.
If (maybe, sometimes, occasionally), the wireless driver has not changed, you can upgrade Access Connections. But if there is an incompatability (not all versions of AC support all wireless cards), OR, if the wireless driver has changed, then the whole lot must be uninstalled and reinstalled according to the above process.
It has never caused me much grief, but it has caused lots of people here lots of grief. ... JDH
