My T60/Vista system has settled down to where there's only one serious annoyance left. About one in every five times that I wake it from suspend, the Synaptics mouse driver quits working properly and the system reverts to the default Windows mouse driver.
What this means for me is that my touchpad becomes re-enabled, the trackpoint becomes much less sensitive, and the scrolling enabled by the middle mouse button switches to the Windows behavior rather than the much better Synaptics behavior.
I've found that logging off and logging back on corrects the problem, but that means I have to re-open whatever I had running.
Has anyone suffered through this problem and found a fix for it?
Thanks,
