netmeeting with access connections?

I've successfully (and happily!) used the 'peer-to-peer' function of access connections with my two T42s. Type in a common passphrase and join and connect. My T61 pops up NetMeeting and won't let me join until I add my name & e-mail address and test my system (sound, microphone, etc.) I don't want to do all that! What's up?!
