Lid latches -- where to get them?

Today I noticed I broke the right latch of my thinkpad. Of course, I wasted no time and looked for it in eBay. However I noticed that there is none for my thinkpad type and model.

Does anyone know where I can get them (aside from eBay and IBM website)? Is there such a thing as compatible latches that would work for (like) several thinkpad models?

Haven't seen any aftermarket latches being offered. The ones that I've found and purchased from eBay are genuine IBM parts. Which system is this for? Have you tried entering the FRU in a Google search?

It's for the R40. The lock portion of the latch (the one that hooks on the palm rest bezel part) is a bit longer than the R31 latch. I checked eBay and I found ones for Axx, Txx and X2x (?) but there were no Rxx latches.

I checked the HMM for R40 but I cannot find the PN for the latches. I got the PN for the Display miscellaneous parts... I think the latches are part of this set (PN46P3119).

I will try Googling this PN. Thanks Ray.
