high-res winxp boot screen

#1 Post by Paul Unger » Tue Feb 05, 2008 3:57 pm

Somehow--and I don't remember how--I have enabled a high resolution version of the Windows XP boot screen on my T42 (which includes the entering / resuming from hibernation screens as well). I did it on my Dell Inspiron 8000 first (w/ sxga+) and was able to remember what I did when I got my first T42 (w/ sxga+), but for the life of me I can't remember the keystrokes to do it. It seems to me it was something simple like ctrl + . . . when the Windows XP splash screen came up (NOT the IBM screen--I didn't play around with the IBM boot files as I've read on some posts around here). Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Can anyone help? It just looks so much 'tighter'. Thanks.
