Hooking up T-61 to a verizon DSL line

#1 Post by kingman99 » Thu Feb 21, 2008 8:21 pm

Hi

For my Dell pc l use a verizon/AOL DSL line. Now that my wife's company gave her a T-61 l will have to pick up some kind wifi set up so she can also use my DSL line.

But in the meantime being that l don't have a wireless router how can l hook up her T-61 to my DSL line. I realize that l will have go off line with my pc but it will only be until l pick up a router.

I can't find the cd that verizon sent me when l first switched to DSL but l'm sure l can find something on line.

Thanks

Alan

Most routers have 4 ports. Use a Cat5 cable between router and T61 until you get your new router.
