I just poured wine in my keyboard yesterday (all my troubles seemed so far away), now i am looking for new springs for my keyboard, does anyone know where to get them cheap?

I’ll give your request a go.

You didn't indicate what ThinkPad laptop you have.

However, you can remove the keyboard; soak it in some warm water with detergent for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse it in warm water real well. Let dry (stand it on its edge, not flat). When you are sure that it is dry, hook it up. It should work just fine.

What makes you think replacing the springs will help?

oh yeah, forgot!! its a Z61m 9450-h9g!

I didn't know that was possible to do that...

Because its not the keys thats the problem. Its that the plastic springs underneath doesnt return the key after its been pressed.

Thank you for the advice, I will do this the next time however i just ordered a new one - it only cost me 328kr or 65 US Dollar
