ThinkVantage Productivity Center Problem

#1 Post by Andrew T » Mon Mar 10, 2008 10:53 pm

Every time I press the ThinkVantage Button or try to access the Productivity Center via the start menu, I get the error: "An unsupported operation was attempted." All the ThinkVantage utilities work if I access them individually in the start menu, but the Priductivity Center keeps giving me that error.

I did a search on google and on here and did not find much. Can anyone help me out? Thanks. :o

I get the exact same error when i try and access the power manager from any shortcuts or menus, doesn't seem to be too much info on it... can anyone help?

I tried reinstalling the ThinkVantage drivers and I had no luck.

I reinstalled the drivers. It had no immediate effect. Then an update for it came up on the System Update and it is all fixed now.
