Structure Frame material..How its made?

just wondering anybody know what the structure frame material thinkpads are made out of? i took apart a structure frame and I am curious on what kind of material it is? ..it's light as tin...
and fairly durable.. interesting that the metal frame looked like it was stamped or maybe made from a mold... but amazingly how well the metal is finished so clean where the small holes and indentation are so well finished...

what kind of glue would be best to do repairs on the plastic parts..like craked lcd case cover? Crazy glue or some type of plastic/metal epoxy

Different materials, depending on the model. There are a number of post's referencing this very question. Try searching with something like "roll cage". There could be something in the T6x conference a ways back.
