Any DVD Software on X61t thinkpads?

#1 Post by nikemen » Thu Mar 20, 2008 1:51 pm

Historically, there was an install of PowerDvd on the thinkpads, but my current X61t doesn’t offer any dvd player options, other than windows media player. I am planning to play some personal ripped dvd’s that I have on the harddrive, but don’t find this application. Is there a location for the download of this still, or is this something that is no longer included?

I think you can get a dvd player via System Update. It is called ThinkVantage Media Center or something like that.

Personally, I use J. River Media Center or the free J. River Media Jukebox. They are great. Thus, I have no experience with the offered software.
