Cd@ II, or 'Naleham' chip?

I've read that Intel is releasing a better C2D chip ('Montevina'?) this June, but is also releasing an entirely new chip design late on this year ('Nahelam' is it?).

Is the June C2D upgrade unaffected by the Nahelam, or will this N chip sweep all C2D chips into the bin?

Basically, buy this June for the C2D mark II, or wait until the N chip is out? What da ya thunk? Will I regret having a 4/6 month old machine when the new ones come out with the new chip?

Isn't Nehalem pretty far down the road? If you wait a year or something for it, next thing you know there'll be news of an even better chip coming another year after it.

Technology really moves that fast. You can't wait too long for "better" things, because there'll always be something better than better on the horizon.

Exactly why you buy stuff right before the new stuff comes out, it's so cheap, but it's the best available when you buy it :D.
