I am new to wireless network and need help. have a 2wire 2700hg wireless modem and a netgear wgps606 for my printer. Everything was working fine but I changed my wireless modem with an identical one and now I can't print anymore. I have no problem to access the internet, it was easy to set up the new modem. What do I have to change for the printer to recognize the the home network (2pc and one T30) I am using windows XP. What do I have to do?

I moved this to the General Hardware/Software conference, so that you might get a little more input.

How is your printer connected to the new modem?
If it's IP you need to check the IP address becaue with your new setup your printer may be holding an old IP address or may have been issued a new one via dhcp from your new modem. Run a config page from the printer, this will show your current settings.
I used to use the
host name of the printer for the printer port, this does not change on a dhcp network, but is sometimes less reliable on large networks.
If it's usb you may need to reinstall the driver
Basically, make sure the IP address in your printer is the same as the one you have in the print driver.

Where do I go to check the IP address? The printer is connected with a USB cable to the Netgear wgps606.

OK if the printer is connected USB disregard all of the above.
You may try rebooting your wirless print server, and logging in to it's web page to check the IP address. Or if you are not real familiar with IP addressing/networking, put in the installation CD and go through and reinstall the print server, this will force the machine to find the new modem and set it up properly.
It is also possible that just rebooting the print server will force it to obtain an ip address within your subnet.
