T60p Wsxga 15.4 screen gaming compatibility

I am looking to buy a T60p 2.33 GHz for my son with 14.1 SXGA screen. I have seen some with 15.4 WSXGA (wide screen) but am worried his occasional gaming wont work with this on native settings. Any thoughts? Also, any thoughts on a reasonable price? I am using T43p 2.26 GHz and i love it. (replaced my T21, 600E, and 760ED) Thanks for any advice. Reid
