Thanks for the review, good to see another durable Thinkpad product.
I remember when I first got my laptop I was not used to the trackpoint (only used to the trackpad or mouse) and was gung-ho on picking up a portable mouse (a la the review), but just after a few days, I fell in love with the trackpoint!

Wow, neat. If the thumbwheel is any better (bigger, with "bumps" while rolling) than my M$ Notebook Laser Mouse 6000, it is SO out of a job.

Cons: Bluetooth range was only 10-15 feet in a [sic] office environment

Oh. Really. I usually use my BT mouse about 20 feet away from my Thinkpad, so that's a deal killer.

i've had my TPBT mouse at the limit (25~30') and it still works.   it's absolutely useless that far away but it does work.
