802.11n a rousing success! Final report, and a new idea! :)

First of all, sorry for the long post!! Please read. I think it's good stuff.
Well, I simply love it.
This is great. My wireless-N Access Point works AWESOME. Roaring speeds between 220-250Mbps, and extremely consistent, and the range is nothing short of stunning!
When I, earlier today, was able to have a CRYSTAL CLEAR VoiP call (by way of Bluetooth headset at that!), and ran my Slingbox without ANY decrease in performance, I decided to download a HUGE file, and I also had my IM client as well as Skype open, and then on top of it, ran a speed test that came back with over 10 (TEN) megs down, I knew I had a pretty decent WiFi connection on my hands. LOL...I asked my friend to play guinea pig, and she said there was ZERO difference when she first called and I didn't have all the other things going, to let me know, incrementally, if the sound quality and clarity changed at ALL, and she kept saying no, as I was ferociously trying to max this network out. lol...Crazy...
And the range!!! All of this went down without a hitch, and as I said in previous posts, the AP is located TWO floors down, and at the exact opposite end of the house! Again...crazy!
And to dot the i, and cross the t, this is only a SINGLE-band Access Point in the crowded 2.4GHz band. I should add, however, that there is a 16meg downlink connection here, so that makes a big difference. If it had been less bandwidth, the outcome would have been a little different I'm sure.
Anyway, to make the long story even longer...here's the plan!
I am thinking of getting the AVM FritzBox 7270, which was recently touted in a major newspaper here as THE router to buy. The article almost sounded like an ad for the router. lol...
Why? It is a DUAL-band router, and it can be used as an Access Point, repeater, etc., so I might not only get better something or other because of the addition of the 5GHz band, but I may be able to move it closer to me, maybe one floor up, and a little to the south, so that everyone in the house can enjoy blazingly fast Internet access! I'll have to buy everyone the AVM USB N stick, which is made to go with that router, since nobody else has a wireless-N card in their respective computers. It's not that I'm dissatisfied, but this would be purely for experimental purposes to see if I can gain even more multimedia power, stellar VoiP connections, and brutally ferocious speeds!
What do you think?? Is this a good idea? Money is not an object here, as I can sell the AP for only $70 less than what I'll have to pay for the FB 7270 router! Oh, and it has Atheros chipsets in it!!!!!!!!!!! The 7170 does NOT, but instead has Texas Instruments, so it would once again be Atheros to Atheros. I didn't know that until I researched it and found out!
Sorry for the long post...I just wanted to be thorough, so that hopefully I can get some informed replies here...
I feel like I have learned TONS worth of WiFi, and wireless-N in particular, related knowledge, so if anyone is tempted, please feel free to ask. Respond here, PM me, whatever. I enjoy helping people, and I do want to give back. I also found tons of driver sites, which are legit, if anyone is interested!!
