On-demand only files virus scanner ?

Could you recommend me simple on-demand files virus scanner ? I don't want anything which does a real-time scan. I'm logged as limited user most of the time anyway. I used AVG 7.5 free edition but even you turn off the resident shield it is still active sometimes. I also experienced problem with updates (BSOD). The new version 8.0 seems to be even more disturbing.

I'd like something which:
- does not install any Windows services
- does not install any kernel drivers
- does not "hook" into file system, TCP services and shell (except Windows Explorer context menu)
- allows to scan individual files and folders

It can be user non-friendly, I could live with a command-line tool as well. I know there is ESET online scanner but it scans the whole disk and runs in web browser only.

It can be free or commercial product (lets say up to 30 EUR) and suppose to work on Windows XP SP3.
