It does not remember the installs it did after reboot!

Anyone else have this issue where you select a download without deferred, it downloads and installs, it ask for a reboot, you reboot, run System Update again, and there it is again like it never installed.

How to fix this?

This has been a perennial problem with System Update ever since Lenovo abandoned Software Installer for its software updating service.

I know of no fix for it. However, I think it may be causesd by the program's failure to properly log previously installed updates; hence, if it does not see the entry in the log, it continues to offer the update for your system.

As long as YOU know the update is installed, I would just ignore the bug until Lenovo fixes it (in our next lifetime, that is).
