SATA drive caddy

#1 Post by FRiC » Sat May 31, 2008 9:45 am

Does anyone know where I can buy a SATA drive caddy? Not the Ultrabay SATA adapter which I already have, but the metal piece with many round holes that needs to be attached to a bare drive then put into the Ultray bay adapter.

I searched around and could only find IDE drive caddies (which I also have for the old Ultrabay IDE adapter). The IDE type caddy can be attached to the SATA drive, but it doesn't fit into the Ultrabay SATA adapter. Right now I just fix my SATA drive in the Ultrabay adapter using scotch tape, but I'd like it to fit nicely using a caddy.
