X61s wireless adaptor not found after update

Due to issues with not being able to install XP SP3 I decided to do a wipe & complete system restore. All went well and was about done reinstalling my apps. XP updated nicely so I thought I was in the clear. Then I went to ThinkVantage System Update to get the latest upgrades. There were about 17 of them. Once done my Wireless Adaptor was listed as Not Installed in Access Connections version 4.5.2. Ethernet still works fine. Wireless does not even show up in Windows Network Connections (only 1394 & LAN)

Soooo, I uninstalled the adaptor driver from the Device Manager and downloaded / reinstalled. Also uninstalled Access Connections and downloaded / reinstalled it.

The result is that the wireless adaptor is working but Access Connections does not. When starting it will not get past the splash screen.

Right now I'm using Windows to manage my connections but I really miss Access Connections. It seems with Windows Wireless & LAN & 1394 are ALL connected. Fn5 only brings up Bluetooth and the wireless light is one even when connected via LAN.

Any thoughts?
