System Update temp storage..

Does anyone know where System Update temporarily stores downloaded files for software updates? I think there is a problem with the download of RNR (Rescue and Recovery) and everytime I keep running it, System Update downloads the whole 287 megs in two seconds. Obviously it is stored locally somewhere and i would like to trash it to have it download it again..

Anyone?
