I was wondering if you can store on a same DVD-r home movies and pictures files.
The second question is: When I copy the original home made DVD, I can't view the copied DVD. I use CD burnerXP. The files appeared to be identical on both DVD Any idea what could be the problem?[/img]

First question, sure why not. MPEG and JPG files can co-exist on the same disc :). Question 2, run an MD5SUM check on both files to see if they are identical -

I don't understand how to use the md5sum program. here is the location of my file : C:\Documents and Settings\xxxx\My Documents\CDBurnerXP Projects. I tried with command prompt but it isn't working.
