Small program to show CPU temp...

#1 Post by SaberX » Fri Jul 04, 2008 5:03 pm

I'm on the look out for a small program that will run in the taskbar or down there the tim and speaker are.
I like it to show the cpu temp.

I have mobile meter and it's god but i like to have one that shows all the time down by the battery meter.

Anyone use a program like that..
Oh ya it's for XP Pro

I think TPFanControl does what you want.

NHC also does this.
Now: T60 2613-EKU | T23 2647-9NU | 600X 2645-9FU | HP 100LX
Past: X31 2673-Y13 | T41 2374-3HU | T22 2647-AEU

Rules of the road :thumbs-UP:

Everest does it as well. If you have multicore cpu it even shows the temps of each core separately, the temp of the cpu as a whole, the temp of the hdd and some more if you want it to. However, I´m not sure if there is a free version of it unlike NHC.

Cheers

Only for Core Duo and Core 2 Duo, the smallest

Everest should give temp and did not required .net.

i dunno.. maybe my tpfancontrol has me blinded or something. Even though it was designed for the T4x range my temps are waay lower in that vers that CoreTemp thing. They were saying 61C on idle on battery (showed my CPU running at 1Ghz cuz of speedstep which is correct). It didn't update though to show when i plugged it in or changed setups. So something's definitely not right.
