Hi
I have an R61 with an NVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M running Vista Premium. How can I turn off (or down) the hardware acceleration? Under "Troubleshoot" in the Advanced Settings for the graphics settings, it says "Your current display driver does not allow changes to be made to your hardware acceleration settings."
(Why would I want to do such a thing, you ask? Powerpoint has this annoying bug that prevents movies from playing correctly unless you turn down the hardware acceleration. I've seen this problem on half a dozen computers and turning down the hardware acceleration has always fixed it....)
Thanks!
How to turn off hardware acceleration of NVIDIA NVS 140M?
