My mini-dock won't attach properly to the notebook stand. There is a slide switch that operates a L-shaped hook on the notebook stand and attaches to the mini-dock through a square hole on its bottom side. The problem seems to be that the two uppermost rubber feet of the mini-dock are too tall and the distance between the two pieces is just shy of closing properly.
I bought the mini-dock on eBay as new but can tell it appears slightly used by the minute scratches on the metal connection points and the packaging was misaligned ever so slightly but enough for me to know it had been repacked.
This leads me to believe that the dock's rubber feet probably came in the accessory pack and they got reversed when the individual first assembled it. So, my question is does anyone have any experience with these two pieces (or just the mini-dock) to know if my guess is accurate. Furthermore, if I am right I will need to acquire four more of the rubber feet and install them correctly.
Thanks!
