Best TP Core Duo upgrade for a TP600X addict

Hey,
I'm the proud owner of a 600X, and I love everything about it. With that in mind I'm looking for a newer TP, preferably but not necessarily dual core, to work with Adobe Creative Suite CS3.

Flash, Photoshop and After Effects - which is a major processor hog are my most frequently used apps.

Budget, as always is a major concern...
