eset nod32 + comodo firewall...

#1 Post by sarbin » Mon Aug 11, 2008 7:13 am

eset nod32 antivirus v3.0.669.0 + comodo firewall pro v3.0.25.378

if anyone is using this combination, have you experienced and web browsing performance degradation in firefox? maybe it's coincidence, but since installing comodo 2 days ago, browsing just 'feels' slower. no benchmarks to substantiate it... just a seat-of-the-pants impression.

When Comodo switched from V2.8 to V3 and up, many people (including me) jumped ship, because of the many hiccups in the new version. Being slow was the least of the problems.
I would recommend to dump Comodo and change over to OnlineArmor

If you look on the left there is a free version as well.

I'm using the free version on a number of PCs and TPs without any issues.
