Thought you guys might be interested in this...I don't have an applicable Thinkpad to test it on, but other forums seem to suggest success.

Looks like it works with your START+L lock command to use the accelerometer in the models with APS to sound an alarm and send you a text message if it gets moved.
For college kids in the library, this would be particularly useful.
