Sharing 4G RAM on Vista32 integ. graphics X300/X200/X61(s/t)

Hi forum members, users of X300/X200/X61/X61s/X61 tablets,
I have a technical question on sharing memory on Vista 32-bit :
If I use Vista 32-bit, an 4 Gb of RAM, will the system dedicate, say 1 Gb to the shared integrated graphics, and then the remaining 3 Gb of RAM to Vista?
If the sharing of memory for this integrated graphic card is at a hardware level, then I suspect that utilizing 4 Gb of RAM will still be more beneficial than 3 Gb of RAM in Vista 32-bit as the integrate graphic card can make use of that 'extra' 1 Gb of RAM (given Vista 32-bit can recognize 3 Gb of RAM at maximum) that Vista 32-bit cannot make use of.
(maybe some benchmark performance tests is necessary to answer this question: on Vista 32-bit machines with 3 Gb vs 4 Gb RAM and an integrated graphic card sharing memory)
Thanks in advance!
