Hey everyone,
I was just noticing that in the Program Files\Lenovo\System Update folder, there is a folder "Session" that is occupying quite a lot of disk space. I'm wondering - is this just the download space that system update uses for its updates? If so, is it safe to just delete these folders? If not, is there some way I can clear it out via the Lenovo programs?

Basically, yes, but......amag wrote:I'm wondering - is this just the download space that system update uses for its updates?
I'm not sure if the log information on what you have already downloaded is kept in the same folder, or somewhere else. You can certainly delete the downloaded files after they have been installed, but you probably should keep the log file(s) if they are in the same folder.
Cheers,

I'm tempted to totally remove System Update, I've had it fail (which also locks up the computer & requires a power-plug-pull to reset it) once too many times.
Lenovo support was familiar with the issue and could only suggest uninstalling it and then installing the latest version, but I'm really wondering if I want SYSTEM UPDATE functions from something that is being UNSTABLE on my system. Hmmm.....
Is it just me, and Vista?
