Trackpoint scrolling for keyboard missing the middle button?

I have some keyboards like this:

i.e. some IBM keyboards with trackpoint but with only 2 buttons instead of 3 buttons.

I love the trackpoint, but with only 2 buttons, I cannot do the UltraNav trick of scrolling by the trackpoint with the middle button pressed down.

What are some of the keyboard settings of you so that you can scroll with the trackpoint conveniently despite only having 2 keyboard trackpoint buttons?
