Traveling from US to UK with X61 - 2-prong power supply OK?

I'll be traveling from the US to the UK with an X61S next month. The machine came with a power supply that uses an ungrounded two-prong line cord. Will this be adequate in the UK if I use a US-UK outlet (mains) adapter, or will I need a power supply with a grounded three-prong cord?
Many thanks for any advice...

Any UK (or Irish) plug (or adapter) needs a ground-pin, even if it is only a dummy plastic pin.
You'll need this 3rd. pin to open the security-cover over the 'life' pins, that is built-in in every outlet.
You could use a 2-prong Euro-plug and use e.g. a small screwdriver or a long tip from a biro or similar, and force the cover open with that, but it's only for emergencies, and NOT recommended.
There's no need to organize a 3-prong US plug.

That's all I need to know, thanks - I think you mean that I can plug the two-prong US plug into this kind of adapter and I'll be fine:

Thanks again!
