An interesting thing about the battery

#1 Post by cchsiao » Mon Jan 10, 2005 5:17 am

Today I check the battery information on my 9 cell battery, and find something interesting. One thing is the first date of use, which shows the first use date is 2005 Jan. Well... I am sure that I started using that battery 3 months ago, and maybe have recharged it for several times. Furthermore, I am pretty sure that I checked that information when I first used it (because I am kind of curious about my new thinkpad at that time, and tried to explore all the software), and it showed the first use day is about 2004 Oct. So... kind of interesting, right?

Another interesting thing is that it becomes a Sony battery. I am also pretty sure that it WAS a Sanyo battery when I first checked it (because I rememberred how disappointed I was at the time I knew that it's a Sanyo battery). Haha... There must be something wrong with the battery maximiser software, but if there are really some problems with it, how could we trust the information it provides?

Any ideas about these two occasions?
