Advanced Dock Media Bay

I just received my new Advanced Dock, which includes an "Ultrabay Enhanced" media bay. I have an Ultrabay Slim HDD adapter, and I'd like to use it in the Advance Dock media bay. However, my dock has a plastic barrier covering the media bay opening, which prevents me from inserting my HDD adapter into the slot.
Does anyone know what one is supposed to do to insert an HDD adapter (or optical drive) into the media bay of the Advanced Dock? Does the plastic barrier move out of the way somehow? Or am supposed to remove it somehow?
Thanks,
Matt

There is a travel bezel in it when new.
Get the user manual here:

Just like your Thinkpad has a lever to eject the ultrabay device, the Advanced Dock has one too. You use it in the same way to eject the travel bezel. If that doesn't work, there might be a screw that you have to remove first.

The information I needed turned out not to be in the user manual -- instead it was in the Thinkpad Help already on my laptop (T61).
The solution (as described in help) is to remove back cover (the one that exposes the PCIe card). There you'll find an internal switch that "unlocks" the media bay. Flip the switch, put the cover back on, and then you can use the external switch to pop out the lever that allows you to pull out whatever's in the media bay.
The external switch won't move unless the internal switch is in the unlocked position. Having made the requisite change I was able to remove the plastic travel bezel and then insert my HDD adapter (in my case, and Ultrabay Slim adapter).
Thanks for the help,
Matt
