Access Connections and using a password to connect ..

#1 Post by johnp126 » Wed Nov 05, 2008 11:51 am

anyone know how to setup a wireless connection that has a word password not a Hex or Decimal password. Something like

harryandsally

as the password, i'm not sure as we normally use encryption not passwords. Thanks for any help..

Are you saying you want your WPA key on your Wifi router to be an alphanumeric? I believe WPA/AES and WPA2/AES support this. I have an alphanumeric passphrase on mine. ... Perhaps I don't understand your question.
