I have been running the "reset" battery procedure in Power Manager on my T400, and I was wondering... it doesn't say much about what you can or can't do while it is running. While it was running, for example, after awhile I had to close the lid. So the battery reset had been running part time with the screen on, part time with the screen off.
Does this matter at all to the accuracy of the battery reading after the reset procedure, does anybody know?

Re: Power Manager "Reset Battery" procedure questi
It makes no difference.tbessie wrote:So the battery reset had been running part time with the screen on, part time with the screen off.

The reset process aims to discharge the battery and the fully recharge it to establish the current empty and full end points.
What you are doing during the discharge process to get to empty doesn't have any impact on the reset.
