Interesting observation re Ultra Nav functionality

A few times, since I've had my R61, I've had the center button of the Ultra Nav mouse stop working. Whenever this has happened, I've simply rebooted, and the center scrolling/select button has started functioning again. It happened again today, and I became a little irate, thinking why should I have to reboot for a silly reason like this? I started to look for possible reasons why this may have happened, for variables, like what I may have done differently this time which might have caused this, and here's what I found: I usually just use one account (the admin account) when I work, but this was one of those rare times that I had used the Guest account. After switching back to the normal admin account, I had used Task Manager to Logoff the Guest user. After that, I noticed that the center button wasn't working. Without rebooting, I switched back to the Guest account to see if the center button worked there. It did. Logging back onto the Guest account and leaving it active seemed to reactivate the center button when on the admin account, because when I switched back, it worked. I did this test twice and had the same results. It seems that if I want to maintain center button functionality when switching accounts, I must keep the other users logged on. I hope this helps others who might be dealing with the same frustration. Does anyone know if there's any other way around this, I mean, any way to maintain center button functionality, after logging off a user, other than rebooting?

Well, my bubble just burst. Ultra Nav started working again, but Access Connections crashed. :( This is ridiculous ... I switch users, and Thinkvantage stuff gets all buggy ...

Or perhaps it's not the act of switching users, rather the logging off of a user that causes the problems ... I dunno :?
