i need a recomendation for a DVD/CD rom drive for my x300. i need something cheap, small and reliable.

I use a Lenovo CDRW/DVD ROM external USB 2.0 drive. You can find them at a reasonable cost on EBay if you are patient.

I paid $46 shipped for mine, it was brand new with a case, power supply, cables, and a 1 year warranty. Some of the refurb'd units are missing the power supply...you'll want a power supply, so beware.

i think the link is to X40 laptop that was for sale. in addition i really would like to get the DVD-R option included. ~$50 would be optimal.
