Wireless disconnects once after boot

Hi,

I have little problem with my Thinkpad R60. I`m not shure if it is certainly thinkpad related, or it is just software malfunction but here is my problem.

After startup, before i even log in (swipe my finger), my wireless connection successfully connects to wifi. It stays connected through login and programs startup (qip connects, also other programs) and a while (30sec - 1min, could be longer) after. Then it disconnects. I can`t reconnect for a while (1min tops), then i connect and stay connected. No more problems.

I`m using Access Connections, and Windows XP SP3.

Anyone have ever noticed something like this?

That doesn't sound exactly like a power problem, but do check the Device Manager, Windows Power Management, ThinkPad Power Management and in the advanced areas of Access Connections, and be sure any setting for wireless power management is set to Maximum Performance. .... JDH
