Fingerprint sw scan stuck to a deleted Domain\User profile

#1 Post by crashnburn » Sun Jan 11, 2009 3:02 pm

Fingerprint Scan stuck to User Templates of a Deleted Domain\User Profile.

I used to have myself as a certain "Domain\User" on this T4x laptop.

Now the machine is not on a Domain but actually attached to a Workgroup at home with a Different User Name (Lets say User2).

For some reason the fingerprint software was not working so I installed the most updated version of it. (Googled for the latest, downloaded, installed etc).

Now, when I try to configure a the new Workgroup User Profile: User2 with my finger scans, it basically tells me that THOSE FINGER SCANS are somehow associated with another user.

So, I tried finger scan before LOGIN and the laptop tries to Run the Domain\User at that time and ofcourse the Domain\User account has been removed from this laptop and the laptop is not attached to a Domain anymore.

QUESTION:

How do I disassociate my Finger Scans that are associated with the Domain\User?

Is there someplace where the CONFIG for that Domain\User is stored by the FINGERPRINT software?
Can it be removed / deleted?
Can the Software be Reset?
Can it be uninstalled, Profile removed & then Reinstalled?

What would be the best option here?
