Making a copy of Rescue & Recovery Product Recovery Disc

T61p - Windows XP
I've created my Rescue and Recovery Startup Disc (several copies, just in case) and I was able to create the one allowed set Product Recovery Discs (further attempts tell me I am only allowed to create one set of those).
I wanted a second set "just in case". I was able to make copies of the Product Recovery Discs using Multimedia Center for Think Offerings. Can I safely assume these will be functional if for any reason the original set doesn't work ?

From what you have said you have created the 'factory settings' restore disks.
If you want a bootable version of your machine as it is now, then you need to create a bootable space on an external HDD and then copy from R&R using the advanced settings.
I hope this helps.

Yes it does, thanks. What I also wanted to find out was if the "copies" I made of the Product Recovery Disks (the one set I was authorized to make) using the "Multimedia Center for Think Offerings" to copy and burn them would be fully functional should something happen to the authorized set.

Why not make ISO images of the CDs you already made?
Then burn them at your leisure.

I don't know what that (ISO) is ?
What I'm trying to figure out is if the images I
did made of the Product Recovery Disks using the Multimedia tool are true, usable images.

They are usable in the same way as your first set of CDs is usable.
Wrt. ISO images, your CD burning application (RecordNow, Nero, etc.) can burn 1:1 images of CDs/DVDs to the hard disk. The resulting file has the ".iso" suffix (in the case of Nero, I think it is another suffix, but can be changed to iso). Later you can burn such images to CD/DVD again. Or there are tools that allow you to open these iso files and use them just like a CD in the CD drive.
