Drivers folder needed? [resolved]

Hi,
when installing Lenovo drivers, they unpack under C:\DRIVERS. Is this folder needed for the proper work of these drivers after having accomplished the installation process? (I´m slowly but surely running out of space, so every bit and byte becomes precious :) )

Can be removed after installation of driver.
IBM T40p 2373-CG6, Pentium M 1.5 GHz, 1024 MB RAM, 40GB HDD, 14.1" TFT, ATI FireGL 9000 64 MB
Dual boot WinXP + Fedora Core 10
