Hint: Go for a Port Replicator II instead of a Mini-Dock!

As I want to use a ThinkPad T42p traveling between two offices, I need two docking-stations, so that I do not have to fiddle arround with the power-supply and additional connections all the time.
After comparing the Mini-Dock and the Portreplicator II (which is about half the price!), I came to the conclusion to go for the a lot cheaper replicator. The only real difference is the 4-port USB Hub and added power-supply with the Mini-Dock, but those two features are not worth the additional price, so buying two replicator + two separate USB Hub + one power supply may be the way to go.
Or is there anyone nevertheless suggesting the Mini-Dock, or is there any other reason why to go for the Mini-Dock instead of the replicator?
