Rescue and Recovery 4.21 Question

Hi,

I have a thinkpad T61 with an HDD 160Gb (90Gb Used Space) and I've made a backup to an external USB disk of a friend of mine with Rescue and Recovery 4.21. I've choosen to make this way because I haven't enough free space on my HDD and R&R take hours and hours to backup to my Desktop PC throught my home wireless. Since the external USB disk isn't mine, my question is: Is it possible to copy and paste the backup in USB Disk to my Desktop PC? If not, what's my best option to clone or backup my entire disk? I'd like to make at least one backup every month so if anything go wrong with my pc I could just restore it and "travel in time" to the hour i made the backup.

I believe you can delete it from Windows SAFE MODE. Press F8 at the beginning of the boot sequence to get the SAFE MODE boot menu. Once in SAFE MODE, I think the folder is called something like /rrbackups/.
