Dead pixels?

Do you have dead or stuck pixels? Please list the model type you have as well.
Please note IBM's dead pixel policy:
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.ws ... &loc=en-us
For the record, I've owned two brand new X40 1.4GHz Dothans.
1st one had 1 red pixel right in the middle.
2nd one had 1 dead grey pixel, and 2 other pixels that showed up in a dark background.
3rd one... we shall see. Way to go, IBM.

none at least not visible on all white or all black screen. never ran any pixel test software, figured if it's not apparent why bother.
have x30 a31
had g40, t21, i1300, 365x and the first one, I can't remember. 535, 540 maybe, does that sound like a real IBM model #?
IBM screens historically have been the best. I'd read once in the mid 90's they were hand picked as yields and consistent quality between batches weren't what they are today. Anyone here know if there was any truth to that?

Laptops
1 on T42 (2378-DXU) - 15" SXGA+ -blue, right side within 1" of outer edge
0 on Dell I-4150 - 14.1" SXGA+ - 3 light areas from LCD compression damage (least of this laptop's problems)
0 on A21e (2655-RRC) - 14.1" XGA - 1 red & 1 green that mysteriously disappeared (not complaining)
Desktop
0 on Cornea MP-704 - 17" SXGA - 1 red near center, sent it back for replacement.

T23
Original screen bought directly from IBM: Perfect.
Went to Solectron at the end of the 3-year warranty mainly due an unrelated issue with the S-Video output, and at that point there was some lint making its way into the screen, so I mentioned that and they gave me a brand new screen with one bright pixel (R+G+B) about one inch from the top in the center. On this 1050x1400 screen I only noticed it by looking very closely for dead/bright pixels when it came back from repair.

IBM's dead pixel policy is rather ridiculous:
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.ws ... &loc=en-us
8-9 for XGA screens, and 11-16 for SXGA+ to UXGA screens!

T42
- 1st LCD: 2*red, 1*3x3mm darker spot.
- 2nd LCD: 0*stuck, 1*slightly lighter spot, can only be seen when viewed closer than 1-inch.
- 3rd LCD 0*stuck, 1*blue appears when pressed on, 1*slightly lighter spot, can only be viewed closer than 1-inch.
And yes, I'm that much of a freak, I inspected the screen inch by inch with my nose against it :)
